Exploration Green Grand Opening

Once complete, Exploration Green will not only provide vital floodwater detention for the Clear Lake area, but also 200 acres of natural habitat for wildlife and residents to enjoy.   Americans United in Action believe that public spaces that create both accessible opportunities to enjoy nature and recreation, while protecting our homes build healthy, strong, and safe communities. The first of five phases is now complete and we are so excited to be coordinating the volunteer effort to celebrate it’s GRAND OPENING April 28th. Help us put on a huge community event where EVERYONE is welcome to come meet their neighbors, discover local organizations, and #ExploreYourGreen. It promises to be a fun-filled day packed with activities and entertainment for ALL AGES. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up/break-down, handing out information, ceremony ushering, and kids activities.
